The color tone of Thermal Ash is a fantastic range of deep browns and brownish red hues, think about the crust of Crème Brûlée. The caramelized sugars create these colors throughout the wood, making it an absolutely gorgeous wood. Untreated it smells like sweet molasses!

Unfinished , sanded to 220 with sanding sealer and grain filler, ready for your spray booth!
Also perfect for aerosol sprays or wipe on poly stains, both lacquer and water based polys.
Food safe finish
We use US Made Walrus butcher block oil and wax, giving it a smooth feel with a beautiful warm satin glow.
A commercial-grade Cutting Board Oil that's made for work and safe for home! Made with 100% food-contact safe and VOC-Free ingredients, without any fragrance. You can expect a silky-smooth finish with enhanced color, and subtle sheen.
Finished food safe carvings are not filled with gold leaf, paint or epoxy.
